It was an exciting first few days for the 27 new trainees who started their careers at AMEVIDA last week. The training managers from HR Development ensured a perfect start. They welcomed the new arrivals to an onboarding kick-off at the Gelsenkirchen headquarters before they went to the respective specialist department at one of the ten AMEVIDA locations. There, too, they received a warm welcome and an introduction to their new tasks and areas of activity. Marija Vasic is an office management trainee, currently at the Oberhausen site, and is delighted: "I really liked the friendly welcome and the great induction phase at Amevida. I've already got to know all my colleagues in my department and was able to get a good initial overview of the tasks ahead."
Throughout the entire training program, trainees receive intensive support from the team of trainers and those responsible in the specialist departments. Internal training seminars and frequent development meetings lay the professional foundations for the duration of the training program and promote personal development. A rotation process with stations at various locations and in various specialist departments guarantees extensive insights into the company and ensures a varied and instructive training period.
The customer communication specialist has a long and successful tradition of vocational training. A total of 60 young people are currently undergoing an apprenticeship at AMEVIDA. "We want to offer as many young people as possible high-quality training and enable them to start their careers at AMEVIDA," says Dr. Matthias Eickhoff, CEO and owner of the company. The dual vocational training is therefore carried out to meet the company's own needs in four professional fields - for service specialists in dialog marketing, IT specialists, office management clerks and tourism clerks.
