A clear commitment to diversity is a key element and therefore at the heart of the corporate culture of customer care service provider AMEVIDA SE. The fact that the Gelsenkirchen-based company is characterized by a very good "diversity climate" is now also made clear in a diversity ranking in the May 25 issue of "Stern" magazine.
Under the title "Diversity wins", the German magazine lists the best employers in terms of diversity by sector in this issue. AMEVIDA is ranked 2nd in the services sector. According to the article, this ranking was compiled by the opinion research company Statista on behalf of the magazine. The companies were assessed in six dimensions of diversity - general, gender, ethnicity, LGBTQ+, age and physical impairment. In total, more than 45,000 employees took part in this study and were surveyed by the pollsters on the six dimensions. AMEVIDA scored 8.15 out of a possible 10 points. Across all sectors, the highest score achieved was 8.80.
"This ranking recognizes our strong commitment to diversity and individuality. We live inclusion and diversity, they have always been deeply rooted in our corporate DNA," emphasizes AMEVIDA owner and CEO, Dr. Matthias Eickhoff. In this context, the AMEVIDA CEO also refers to the newly appointed key position of Inclusion Officer, who reports directly to the Management Board. With around 130 employees with disabilities, the inclusion rate in the company alone is more than 5 percent.
