On Saturday, December 7, 2019, around 100 employees of AMEVIDA, the call center giant in the Ruhr region, made phone calls for a good cause.
All volunteers, from call center agents to management, actively supported the "Ein Herz für Kinder" project with their work.
The employees took over 2200 donation calls.
AMEVIDA raised a total of EUR 213,371 through these calls alone.
In addition, many AMEVIDIANS donated their hourly wages earned that evening, which amounted to over 2,000 euros.
AMEVIDA itself topped up this amount to 5,100 euros in donations.
The atmosphere in the AMEVIDA family was relaxed and collaborative.
The campaign was a complete success again this year.
"We are delighted that so many of our colleagues have "A Heart for Children" and are working for a good cause in their free time without pay," says Daniel Sülberg, Head of Department at AMEVIDA.
The "Ein Herz für Kinder" foundation supports children and families in need worldwide.
The organization also supports soup kitchens, children's clinics, kindergartens, schools and sports and educational projects in Germany, among other places.
The donation call was organized by Deutsche Telekom AG.
