165 employees who have been with AMEVIDA for 10, 15 or 20 years were honored at AMEVIDA's headquarters on Friday afternoon.
The ceremony begins with a champagne reception for many good-humored people.
The AMEVIDA family knows each other and greets each other warmly with hugs.
Many colleagues started out together - back then at Tectum.
And among them is Dr. Matthias Eickhoff, CEO of one of the largest employers.
The colleagues come from all over the Ruhr region - from Gelsenkirchen, Bochum, Dortmund, Essen, Oberhausen and Düsseldorf - from all AMEVIDA locations.
These include some employees from reception and the site secretariats, colleagues from Controlling and, of course, call center agents.
What they all have in common is that they value their employer and have therefore felt at home here for many years.
After introductory words, around 25 of the employees celebrating their anniversaries receive their gifts from the boss.
"All of you, the employees of AMEVIDA, are our greatest asset," emphasized Dr. Eickhoff in his speech to the attentively listening team.
"We know that we couldn't do anything without you, so we are grateful to you."
The other jubilarians receive their presents - elegantly wrapped in white bags with personalized certificates - from their direct superiors.
Afterwards, there is plenty of time for personal discussions.
