The headquarters of AMEVIDA SE is located at the start of the Schalker Meile, right next to the Berliner Brücke in Gelsenkirchen.
Since this weekend, the listed building has been lit up in blue at dusk.
Royal blue, ultramarine by Yves Klein or AMEVIDA blue - Dr. Matthias Eickhoff, CEO of AMEVIDA, stands for all three.
"AMEVIDA's corporate color is blue. The headquarters of one of the largest call centers in Germany is located in Gelsenkirchen, where we are one of the largest employers. But we also want to express our solidarity with FC Schalke 04 - be it in the arena or as a sponsor of basketball. We have achieved this brilliantly with the lighting of the AMEVIDA building on Kurt-Schumacher-Straße."
AMEVIDA is also taking part in the "1000 Lights in the City" winter lighting event, which is taking place in Gelsenkirchen city center for the eighth time.
AMEVIDA is now taking part.
For this event, 42 LED lights and five floodlights have been specially purchased to create the atmospheric glow.
Every evening for a good seven hours and two hours in the morning, the building, which was built in 1952 and used to house the administration of Thyssen-Draht AG, shines in steel blue.
