On Tuesday, October 9, the ice cream man delighted over 60 children from the St. Elisabeth youth welfare center in Dortmund.
In sunshine and high spirits, the children and Dr. Matthias Eickhoff, CEO and owner of AMEVIDA SE, were delighted with the ice-cold refreshment.
At AMEVIDA's locations in Gelsenkirchen, Düsseldorf, Essen, Bochum, Oberhausen and most recently in Dortmund, an ice cream van visited six social institutions and distributed ice cream scoops to over 400 children - a welcome refreshment on the last summery days in the Ruhr region.
The ice cream scoops were won by the employees at the AMEVIDA summer party in September.
Over 1200 employees celebrated with summery live music, a barbecue and team events at the first AMEVIDA summer party.
At the call center operator's team events, the focus was not only on good team spirit among the workforce and the will to win, but also on scoring as many points as possible.
Every point scored was converted into scoops of ice cream to benefit children in various social institutions.
