The call center operator AMEVIDA with its headquarters in Gelsenkirchen supported the sports weekend organized by the soccer and popular sports club DJK Arminia Hassel 1924 e.V. between 31.08. - 02.09.2018. A family sports festival for people with and without disabilities followed by youth tournaments filled the program. For the first time under the title "AMEVIDA Summer Cup", the G, F, E and D juniors competed in the soccer tournaments and the event was also supplemented by various exercise and play activities for people with and without disabilities. "At AMEVIDA, the focus is on people. We are convinced that both people with and without disabilities deserve the chance to play their part in life and in the company to the best of their ability, and we currently have over 120 inclusive employees. We are therefore delighted to support such events," says Dr. Matthias Eickhoff, CEO of AMEVIDA, adding: "Youth sport in particular is very close to our hearts, where children and young people can develop their potential through play. Last but not least, the first AMEVIDA Summer Cup is our clear commitment to Gelsenkirchen." The youth manager of DJK Arminia Hassel, Torsten Kiehne, is delighted with the support from AMEVIDA and says: "We at Arminia Hassel have set ourselves the goal of improving the exercise and sports opportunities, as well as creating fun and encounters with each other, for disabled and non-disabled people, in which AMEVIDA has clearly supported us, which we are very pleased about."
