"It's important to us," says Dr. Matthias Eickhoff, "to get very close to our future employees." This is how the CEO of AMEVIDA explains the opening of a new recruiting office in the heart of Gelsenkirchen's city center. In Arminstraße, job seekers can not only find out more about working in the AMEVIDA call centers, but also submit their application right away. Before the symbolic cutting of the opening ribbon, city councillor Dr. Christopher Schmitt congratulated the company, which is successfully investing in the training of young people: "With its approach in Gelsenkirchen, AMEVIDA has created an innovative alternative and constructive addition to digital applicant acquisition. This underlines the connection to our city, but also the progressiveness in the development of recruiting methods."
With a total floor space of 190 square meters and its central location in the immediate vicinity of the pedestrian zone, the office is much more than just a "recruiting office". "Our interested parties," said Eickhoff, "can see directly what a job in our call centers looks like." To this end, AMEVIDA has set up a "transparent call center" on Arminstrasse, which the guests at the office opening were able to see for themselves today.
AMEVIDA is looking for around 200 new employees every year for its locations in North Rhine-Westphalia. "We simply have a quality and location advantage here at home," explained Dr. Eickhoff.
In total, AMEVIDA currently has more than 2,200 employees in six different cities, including over 50 trainees in various professions. The company offers numerous unusual social benefits, such as free membership of one of the cooperating fitness studios and extremely flexible working hours. Eickhoff: "Whether single parents, students or pensioners who want to earn some extra money - we find interesting working time models for everyone. A confident telephone manner and a good knowledge of German are often sufficient requirements."
