As the conversion work has been delayed somewhat, but the rental agreement at Leithestraße 47 expires on 30.09.16, the affected employees will be "parked" at the AMEVIDA locations in Oberhausen and Leithestraße 45 for the short transition period. At the end of December 2016, around 320 employees of the customer care service provider will then move into the new company headquarters in Kurt-Schumacher-Straße in the Gelsenkirchen district of Schalke, which, with the planned expansion, will offer space for a total of around 500 employees and thus create room for further growth. "The new location is a clear commitment from us to Gelsenkirchen and at the same time secures the framework for our further corporate development," emphasizes AMEVIDA CEO Dr. Matthias Eickhoff and explains in this context: "The last two years have been very dynamic for AMEVIDA. In addition to broadening our industry focus to include the energy and financial sectors, we have scored particularly well with our expertise in customer loyalty and retention solutions." "I am delighted that this historic industrial monument will be the new headquarters of a Gelsenkirchen-based company that is investing in the location and wants to create more jobs," says city councillor Dr. Christopher Schmitt. The rental agreement between AMEVIDA SE and the owner Cording Real Estate Group was concluded with the support of the Gelsenkirchen Economic Development Agency. The listed property, an office building from the immediate post-war period (1952), offers 3,200 m² of office space and around 900 m² of archive space on four floors. There will also be 100 parking spaces next to the building. Extensive modernization and conversion work is currently being carried out in the property in order to adapt it to the requirements of a customer care service provider in line with AMEVIDA's wishes.
